Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are therapeutic proteins characterized by structural heterogeneity and strong process dependency. The quality attributes of mAbs are closely linked to the manufacturing process.

International regulatory guidelines require systematic characterization of key quality attributes, including physicochemical attributes, purity/impurities, and biological activity. In particular, chemical characterization plays a critical role in confirming product identity, managing heterogeneity, and ensuring comparability during process changes.

In this seminar, we will introduce analytical strategies based on chemical characterization of mAbs, along with practical application cases.
