Product Overview

 

Human Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells come from multiple tissue types including Aorta (AoSMC), Coronary Artery (CASMC), Pulmonary Artery (PASMC), and Umbilical Artery (UASMC). Cryopreserved cells are shipped in 3rd passage.

Clonetics® Human Aortic Smooth Muscle Cells are guaranteed for 15 population doublings and to stain positive for alpha smooth muscle actin and negative for von Willebrand Factor VIII after differentiation. All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots. A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is provided for each cell lot purchased.
