Culture media supplements are substances that, given their nature, cannot undergo high-temperature sterilisation processes, so they must be added to the medium after it has been sterilised and cooled. These substances are usually enhancers or inhibitors of specific bacterial species.

We offer our complete range of freeze-dried supplements in boxes of 10 vials for media requiring thermolabile selective supplements with a shelf life of 3-4 years.

The vials are very easy and safe to handle thanks to their plastic screw cap, which prevents accidents caused by handling aluminium material. The rubber septum also allows the sterile diluent to be added either by syringe injection or by stirring.
